What a total doll! Congrats - what a wonderful time this is - soak up every second. I know we did! I can't believe we were in your shoes just eight months ago...time flies. You will be on the other side of this journey before you can blink.
What a precious smile! Her first name Jia Ran, sounds so pretty. We kept our daughter's name as a second middle name too. Keep in mind, that the name "Jia Ran" is probably considered one name even though it's separated. You might want to consider using the entire name with a hyphen. Our daughter's Chinese name was Lu, Qing Rong. We were going to only keep Qing as the second middle name, and we were told by a Chinese friend to keep both Qing and Rong, as Qing-Rong. Otherwise it would be like having half of an English name removed. For example, Susan would be a completely different name if only called san. I've really grown to love the name Qing-Rong, and sometimes call her than. Congrats. She is BEAUTIFUL.
Congratulations on your Jiangxi referral! When you are ready to obtain her newspaper finding ad (which has a great photo of her months younger than her referral photos!) come visit us. We have a lot of information available.
I am so very excited for you!!! Lainee is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Our girls are only a few days apart! Hope we will get to travel at the same time:)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you on this ever so special day!!
